This session was probably one of the best times I've had taking photos. This whole family is funny. Genuinely comedic and lighthearted.
I can't tell you how long I've known the Solomon family. All I can tell you is the boys were in elementary when I met their family. It's been a while.
Mardi told me they haven't had family photos since Hayden was preschool age. I really felt humbled to take their photos.
Mardi and Adam are one of the most thoughtful couples I know. Mardi has been involved in children's ministry for as long as I can remember. And I do credit our home church's children's ministry to being the best in part to her.
Josh and Stephen I know the best of the three boys. I'm pretty sure Hayden has always thought I was an annoying girl who asked too many questions. (Which he'd be right.)
I have spent weeks with Josh and Stephen at youth camps and on missions trips. To sum them up briefly they are fun, funny, and just as caring as their parents. So way to go mom and dad. (Hayden, I'm sure you share these same qualities. It'd be hard to grow up with these folks and not have them rub off on you.)
Most of the time I find it hard to believe these boys are as old as they are... They'll perpetually be elementary students in my head and heart.
One of these boys is actually engaged! Which excites and scares me all at the same time. More excitement than fear, but still. Stephen is engaged to Kasey. While I've only known her a short time I can see she's just as kind and caring as Stephen. I wish them all the best on their journey and marriage.
Truly, I feel lucky to know this family. They are good and kind people I am honored to call friends. Thank you Solomon family for being such a wonderful example of love and such good friends to all.
Blessings to you this holiday season!
